Stella Ebner
In my work, I am addressing themes and subject matter that focus on the non-descript over-looked side of modern American life. It is a far-reaching portrait of what we value and who we are as Americans. By looking within the scope of the American every day, I am seeking to discover the imagery that defines us as a culture – images of spaces, events and moments that are so ubiquitous they are largely ignored, but when held up to the viewer they become a place of self-recognition.
